Step by step
Your ID card might print Metropolitan, Economy Preferred or Farmers GroupSelect. The report starts on the same Farmers line whichever name you see.
Text a photo with the year, make and model, or call (877) 994-5277. We look up the windshield for your VIN and walk through the policy with you.
Farmers lists 800-854-6011 for GroupSelect and former MetLife Auto & Home claims, any hour. If you have an agent, Farmers says they can help with policy questions.
When you’re asked who will replace the glass, say Bang AutoGlass and (877) 994-5277. Note the claim number and your claim representative’s name.

Usually, through the comprehensive part of your MetLife Auto auto policy; a liability-only policy doesn’t pay for your own glass. In Arizona, the windshield skips the deductible only if you chose full glass coverage. In Florida, the deductible doesn’t apply to windshield damage on a policy with comprehensive coverage. We check your policy before booking.
Farmers took over MetLife Auto & Home, and Farmers says its GroupSelect customers, including former MetLife Auto & Home customers, report claims at 800-854-6011, open 24/7.
Economy Preferred Insurance Company is one of the companies Farmers lists as underwriting GroupSelect products, so the GroupSelect claims line applies. If the card prints its own claims number, use that one.
Farmers asks GroupSelect customers to contact their claim representative directly for the status of an existing claim. We can join a call if the representative has questions about the glass.
